About Earth Path - Sacred Drumming and Ceremony for the Birthing Year Diploma.
The Earth Path training guides us to look beyond the physical aspects of birth and open
themselves to life’s shamanic facets. This training equips you to bring sacred ceremony,
Celtic and historical wisdom, and land-based shamanic practices to supporting families
through the complete birthing year.
This deep-dive program spans just under a year to mirror and flow with the natural seasons
of birth.
It will be an intimate Circle. Limited to a maximum of six students to foster a close-knit
community and ensure personalized mentorship.
There is a second year of deeper Shamanic Healing Practices to support parents over three weekends.
You will emerge from this training as a shamanic healing practitioner for the birthing year and beyond, and a ceremonialist.
There are three highly suggested optional ceremony weekends:

Drum Making before the course begins, so you can birth your own drum in ceremony.

Fire Walk rite of passage ceremony - after the first year.

Sweat House Ceremony Tigh 'n Alluis to conect deeply within, with allies, mother earth offering prayers within our earths womb.

I began the first Earth Path Birthkeeping Course in Jan 2024 because I knew that deepening my practice in a more connected way was the path I needed to follow. As an experienced birth and postnatal doula, who has supported multiple parents, I wanted to move my support in a direction that honoured the rite of passage parents take when they birth and become new parents. I feel that modern society has lost its way around how sacred and special the birth of a baby is and I knew this course would put me on the track of reinvigorating this belief.
I wasn't disappointed! Eva includes so many ways to honour pregnancy, birth and the postpartum with the foundation of shamanic drumming interlaced with so many ideas for rituals, ceremony and celebration. She introduces modalities for energy clearing and healing as well as shamanic and meditative journeying.
All the content is accessible for those new to a more spiritual practice and delivered in an easy to understand way, guided by Eva's warmth, calm demeanour and intuitive support. There are lots of opportunities to integrate the practical exercises, grow confidence in using a drum and interweave the ideas in your everyday doula practice. Eva goes above and beyond with all her content to ensure you have so much understanding about all the different ways you can support your clients.
And most surprisingly, I underestimated my journey of self development and spiritual growth. The course was so special and bonding with the other attendees and we have become deep supporters of each other as people and our calling! Eva shares so much of her life long learning and her own knowledge from her journey that this course will have a longlasting ripple effect on us as practitioners, the parents we support and even our wider community. I have already secured a client who is benefitting significantly from this practice I have learned.
What I also found very special, important and unique about this course is the way it is deeply rooted in the lore and wisdom of this country's lands and traditions. We can appreciate the learning from different cultures but it is important that we don't appropriate practices not gifted to us or understood on a deeper level ancestrally. As a result, I feel more connected to lost wisdom in a truly bonded way.
